Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the Tag My Fish app or website. By using our services, you agree to the practices described below.

Who We Are

Tag My Fish is a web and mobile application designed as a social network for anglers, ichthyologists, and ecologists. It connects all fish species with water bodies worldwide, serving both recreational fishing and ecological research purposes. The platform promotes the protection of aquatic ecosystems while enhancing the fishing experience.

Users can upload photos of their catches and tag the fish species, the water body where the catch was made, and the fishing gear used. If a species is tagged incorrectly—or if the user doesn't know what they've caught—the system automatically detects and corrects the tag, ensuring accurate species identification.
