Description
Veľký Draždiak is a lake and natural swimming pool in Petržalka, Bratislava. It was created as a summer natural swimming pool around 1982 after gravel mining and deepening of the original water area, which the original inhabitants of Petržalka used to call Šutrovka. It is located in the Bratislava V district between the Croatian branch and the premises of the Hospital of St. Cyril and Methodius on Antolská Street. Its water area has an area of 13 hectares and, in addition to swimmers, numerous flocks of swans, ducks and other water birds reside here.
