Description
A sandperch with 3 series of large pale reticulated spots or blotches along the sides, a dark greyish-brown reticulated pattern between the spots, and a pale spot with a black ring above the gill opening. It is found in the Bay of Bengal to seas around Japan and Indonesia throughout the Indo-West Pacific region. This species can reach a length of 26 cm.
