Description
Distribution Eastern Central Atlantic: endemic to Cape Verde. Max length : 35 cm; common length : 25 cm Dorsal spines (total): 12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-15; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 12 - 13 Inhabits rocky bottoms down to 100 m depth; may occur in deeper waters on muddy bottoms. Feeds on invertebrates and seaweeds.
