Description
Lophius budegassa, the blackbellied angler, is a species of anglerfish in the family Lophiidae. The fish is found in a depth range of 300–1,000 metres (1,000–3,300 ft) in the eastern Atlantic ocean and Mediterranean Sea. The species can measure up to 100 cm (40 in), but is more commonly around half that length.
