The Văliug lake is a reservoir built on the Bârzava, being framed by the Gozna and Secu reservoirs.
Located at the foot of Mount Semenic, the lake is at an altitude of 600m, being an attraction for any tourist passionate about nature, fishing and water sports. It has an area of almost 12,6 ha, and was built in 1909 for the water supply of the area and for the production of electricity.
