Description
Lake Waubesa is one of the four major lakes in Dane County, Wisconsin that surround the city of Madison. The lake has a surface area of 8.39 km2 and a max depth of 12 m. This lake is fed via the Yahara River Watershed and 9 Springs Wastewater Effluent. In 2013, the Wisconsin state record Yellow bass was caught in Lake Waubesa. It was 41 cm long and weighed 1.2 kg.
