Description
The Cabriel is a river in eastern Spain, the main tributary of the Júcar. It has a length of 277.6 km, a basin of 4754.2 km² and an average annual flow of 220.82 hm³. Known for its numerous gorges and its crystal-clear waters. This river passes through the provinces of Teruel, Albacete, Cuenca and Valencia. An association called Valle del Cabriel has been created, which includes 52 towns from Albacete, Cuenca, Teruel and Valencia, with the aim of converting the area into a Biosphere Reserve . This will be called the Cabriel Valley Biosphere Reserve , which will run along the entire Cabriel River for 277 kilometres.
